HR Generalist (Top Financial NYC)

proactive HR Generalist with 7-10 years of relevant experience. The HR Generalist will oversee and execute on initiatives in the following human capital arenas: compensation and year-end processes; employee relations; departures; and staffing-related agreements and contracts. This person will also provide expertise and leadership on a broad range of core HR projects -including policy development and implementation, the opening of new offices, and maintaining the employee handbook. 

Ideal prospects will have outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent project management abilities, strong facilitation skills, and impeccable judgment; individuals who are flexible, discreet, and motivated will excel in this role. It is essential to have prior exposure to, and technical expertise in, several key human capital disciplines-employee relations and compensation in particular. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills are imperative, as is the ability to communicate in a clear, poised, concise manner. Previous financial services experience is preferred.
